Great place, with a mix of modern thinking and traditional architecture. Friendly staff, nice "theme" rooms, fine food. A good breath of fresh air in the middle of hills, but not too far away from Bern if you're on business as I was. Emmenthal "Käserei" (cheese factory) in nearby village with modern, visitor-orientted infrastructure and a good shop.
Reception phone easily switches to automatic reply mode, but that looks like a neglectible niggle as soon as you get there.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in a very beautiful area. The location up in the mountains was just perfect - it felt like a remote location without being too far from everything else. The hotel facilities were fantastic, and there were outdoor lounge areas and games for kids. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, and they made me feel at home. They even noticed my birthday and went the extra mile to make it special. I enjoyed the breakfast and the well-prepared and delicious food served in the restaurant. Transportation was smooth, and it was reachable by public transport directly from the nearest city.
Nothing it's perfect.

It offers a true rural alpine experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The prices are reasonable and offer good value for money. The attention to detail, such as lighting a small candle on a cake for a birthday celebration, shows the hotel's commitment to creating a personalized experience for guests.
All aspects of the hotel were excellent.

During our city trip, we had the opportunity to stay in a hotel located in a picturesque area surrounded by rolling hills and cows. the hotel provided us with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, which was exactly what we were seeking. the staff was very attentive to details, providing even small surprises such as a birthday cake and lighting up the wellness area, which was otherwise not being used. the dinners were also excellent, with great recommendations from the hosts and perfect service by the waiter.
The room we stayed in was quite small and dark, and during the night we had to keep the window open because it was too hot. Unfortunately, this led to us being woken up by other guests walking by and making some noise outside our window.

Located in a breathtaking area, the restaurant serves the best fish dish I've ever tasted. The breakfast had a several options and everything was delicious. The new wellness area was convenient and relaxing.
The room was small, dark and too hot. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty and the shower head kept slipping.
